Of ice-creams and err...
I just had a sudden craving for ice-cream. What a good timing to have the sudden urge for it knowing that tomorrow is the 31st of January . That means Baskin Robbins has 31% discount for their ice creams! Yay!
Come to think about it, have you ever know anyone who eats ice cream when they are sad? I mean, what are the odds that you see someone sad eating ice cream. I think ice cream brings out the joy in people.
Ice cream = Happy Food!
Well, well, furthermore, the time is passing by freaking fast. Just a few days ago we celebrated New Year's and now it's already the end of the first month of the year. Darn fast!
Oh by the way, I got another freaking ticket. 2 darn saman in a span of a week. Craziness. The first one I admit, i did forget to pay the parking meter. But today's saman, wth, not even a freaking ticket machine and I kena saman. Stupid lah. only know how to saman people.
Actually I don't really mind paying for the tickets, but going to the place to pay the ticket is like stabbing a knife against yourself. Sigh. I don't know why, but these days I'm getting very forgetful. Forget to bring my hp out, or either enter the elevator and then forgot to take something that I supposed to bring, small things like this. Lack of sleep? Maybe.
I need some happy food! =(
anyone?

Heroes..my take.
Transformers were going big during my childhood days.
Do you remember reading comic books of your favourite cartoon hero?
We used to read our father's old comic books such as Spiderman , the Hulk, etc. And they became our hero too.
Do you remember impersonating your favourite cartoon character?
I remembered that I played the role of captain planet. LoL.
Do you remember that after our cartoon heroes became famous they decided to create theme parks with specific zones/ specific rides for specific cartoon heroes?
Disneyland, Movie world, Universal Studios are a few example.
Do you remember that a few years back they started coming out with movies of famous cartoon heroes?
Spiderman, The Hulk, Batman(this one classic), and for this year, Transformers and Ninja Turtles.
Ghost Riders too, fyi ghost riders is a marvel character, but who the heck is he? never heard before.
Well, I think the producers were inspired when they were young. Not by ninja turtles but maybe some cartoon character of their time.I believe that they believe that there are heroes waiting to save them when they were younger. But as time passes by, they realized that their favourite hero from the comic they used to like does not exist. It diminished all their childhood hopes that a hero would one day come and save them.
But then again, it brought them up to be someone stronger, and gave them hope that there's a hero that would one day come to save them. That is why, movies of cartoon heroes still exist because the producers understood that even though cartoon heroes are non-existent, it gave hope to little young boys to grow up in life. Thus, they (producers) wanted us (children these days) to have someone to look up to just as they had someone to look up to, wanting us to have someone whom we could look up to when our mummy's and daddy's scold us, when we get bullied by with a big bully in school, when a girl you like tells you that she doesn't like you. They want us to know that everything would be alright because there's a hero which will come along the way, and save you from all these things.
----
Whoa, I can really crap. haha. Well that's all for now. And that's my reasoning of why heroes still exist. LoL. So at the meantime I bid goodbye for maybe another few more days or weeks before I update my blog once again. LOL. Till then.
Aloha
p/s: (did you know aloha means hello and also goodbye in Hawaiian?)
Whatever.

"Eh, I'm leaving to Australia"
I've been facing this crisis lately, it's called the I'm-leaving-to-Australia crisis. I have been hearing that sentence more frequently these days. Not too long ago, I witnessed my sisters leaving to
It's really interesting how Australian's successfully advertised their country as a land for student to further their tertiary education after a foundation year in
Can you imagine how much money outflow is going for each student sent to
Let's say:
Tuition fees = A10,000
Lodging = A10,000
Food +
Let's say one year is A23,000 per student.
Imagine every year, let's say 2,500 student go over.
2,500 X 23000 = A57.5 mil
Exchange it to RM
57.5mil X 2.8 = RM161 million.
Woohoo.. a whooping sum of RM161 million. Furthermore this is not including family visiting their children, or either children flying back to
To think about it, Malaysians are actually quite rich. Ah well, back to where I first started. Well a lot of my friends would be leaving. Some were real shockers. People such as Fazil, Stesha, Han Min, Alicia and Jason. 4 out of 5 of them were my previous classmate and one a cheer partner. HAHA. That's for you to guess though. No identity will be exposed.
It's kinda scary how we are all growing up and going our own ways, well technically we are going our own ways. By October this year I would be 19 and soon after my birthdate will never start with a 1 in front again. Unless I live pass a hundred that is. It's scary don't you feel?
Furthermore with more friends leaving, that leaves you with less friends to hang out with. I cannot imagine the day when my group of friends starts to leave or me leaving before them. Will it be exciting? Will I be nervous? What's in store for me? With all the freedom I have, will I be who I am or will I change drastically?
Thoughts like those floods my mind every time I think about myself experiencing my life when I study overseas next time. Well, guess I'll just have to wait for my turn. Till then, goodbye to you my trusted friends. All the best in whatever you do!
Bah not like any of those people of the above reads my blog. haha..for what it's worth.

Economics...Zzz
I just can't wait for 3.30 to come tomorrow. Then I'll be a free man. No exams anymore! At least for the next few months. And ohh yes, CNY is coming up. that means, $$$. LoL. Yes, it's another time of the year when we get bonuses. You know, our parents get some annual bonus, so yeah, it's like we get our normal allowance and on top of that we get Ang Pow!
Especially those with girlfriends, they would be really relieve that CNY will be around the corner to fill their pockets after burning a hole in it during Valentine's day. but it's like a rule ler. A guy will try his ultimate best to give his date a memorable day. In defense the girls will say that they did not ask him to do all that for me, but imagine a guy seriously didn't plan anything for the girl. Then they will get all angry. You know what I meant? However it is, the girl is always at the winning position. But I guess everything done will not be in vain.
Oh my goodness, strayed out of the topic. Yes, back to what I was going to share about. It's been quite awhile since I last scrolled through some of my friends blogs and as I was doing so just now it reminds me of how sometimes I take my friends for granted. You know, like you don't meant to take them for granted but somehow it just makes you take them for granted. I don't meant to though.
I don't meant to. I'll try my best to spend more time with you guys. =)

The year that IS going to be.. (i'll try my best!)
Like I've said in the previous post, that 2006 wasn't one of the best years for me, but I did achieve some milestone such as attending RBS, Camp Comm, Christmas Comm, Bible study classes, and of course creating some history, such as winning BQ for the 3rd year running. Well, even though I've achieve quite a bit myself, I still felt as though that there were things that were lacking. Such as time with myself, time with God, time with family.
So for the year that is going to be. (decided to make some resolutions in the end!)
- Lose weight! (another 8kg!)
- Spend more time with family.
- Finish the new testament.
- Write a 3000 words story.
- Write poems
- Get presents for family members. ( I admit, I haven't been the best of son and brother)
- Spend less (Put at least 20% of my allowance into my savings)
- YES, get a ATM card. (i know, pathetic)
- Learn to decide venues to eat.
- Learn to cook at least a simple meal.
Bah, that's all that I can think now. I do this to remind myself and you guys, since you already know what I want to achieve, do help me achieve my goal. =).
p/s: the title was inspired by BenT's title. haha! cizo.

a new year, new expectations, new hope, maybe.
For many years I made resolutions for the new year only to see it fail when the next year comes around. Last year, I made two resolutions, losing weight and the latter; getting a girlfriend. Haha. I achieved one of my goal and see the other one failed. It's obvious which failed and which was a success. But, the latter is not something that can be done by myself, but it needs the other party too. LoL.
So for the year that I'm about to go through, I have decided not to have any particular resolution. But this are something that I really want to achieve over the next 365 days. Getting closer to God. Continue losing some extras. =). and maybe to mend some relationship between friends.
A new year, new expectations, new hope? Maybe. A girlfriend? Maybe too. HAHA.
Indeed I've been missing out alot in relationship terms, but I guess God has a time for everything. It might be tomorrow or the day after that God provides! HAHA.
Okay. I'll stop.
Well, everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Though I'm a little late, as long as I've said it. Boohoo.
Cheers mate!
