Nobody knows it but me

I know most of you love the blonde jokes. Don't need to be shy to admit it. Haha! Anyway it's been awhile since I did a tag, and since I've got nothing much to update you about, I'll just do my tag

1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves
3. At the end of the post the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, than goes to their blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know they done got tagged and to ask them to play and read your blog.

What's the difference between a girlfriend and a wife

45 pounds!

Anyway, I think it was a great achievement for me to have the last few post attached with pictures. I STILL find it a real hassle to upload pictures onto my blog hence the lack of photos on my blog. Anyway, I'm learning to step out of my comfort zone. Anyway something random, I just noticed that we (those who can drive) have something in common. And I meant all drivers that I know! Believe me or not, we all have our own preference of the type of petrol our car consumes! Somehow every driver has their own option on why their petrol is the best compared to others. Period.

Anyway I was searching through my cupboard when i found an old joke book which I haven't touched in a long while, I must say, the jokes never grow old and it will definitely gave me a laugh or two while I was at it. Anyway, I was amused by some of the jokes, and so I thought of you guys, and thought of sharing some of it with you guys. My avid fans! HAHA! Well the good part is, It might brighten your day if you had a bad one, or you could have yourself a good laugh if you were bored.

What do you call a woman who knows where her husband is every night?

A widow.

What happened when the Pope went to Mount Olive?
Popeye beat the crap outta him.

What did the elephant say to the naked man?
How do you breathe through that thing?

How old are you?
A woman walks up to a little old man rocking in a chair on his porch.
"I couldn't help noticing how happy you look." she says. "What's your secret for a long happy life?"
"I smoke three packs of cigarettes a day," he says. "I also drink a case of whiskey a week, eat fatty foods and never exercise."
"That's amazing!" the woman says. "How old are you now?"
"Twenty six" he replies.

Wife wanted

One day a man inserted an 'advert' in the local classifieds: "Wife wanted".
Next day he received a hundred letters. They all said the same thing: "You can have mine."

Guess who knows the state capitals?
A dumb blonde is bragging about her knowledge of the state capitals of United States. She proudly annouces, "go ahead ask me any of the capitals, I know them all."
A red head asked," What's the capital of Wyoming?"
The blonde replies, "oh, that's easy, 'W'."

What do you do when a blonde throws a pin at you?
Run like hell....she's got a hand grenade in her mouth!

Why did 18 blondes go to a movie?
Because below 18 was not allowed

How to amuse a blonde for hours?
Give her a sheet of paper with 'Please turn over' scribbled on both sides.

What do you call a smart blonde?
A Golden Retriever.

What do you call a blonde on a University Campus?
A visitor.

How do you make a blonde laugh on a Saturday?
Tell her a joke on Wednesday

You've got mail!
A blonde quickly goes out to her mail box, looks in it, closes the door of the box, and goes back in the house. A few minutes later, she repeats this process by checking her mail again.
She does this five more times, and her neighbour that was watching her comments: "You must be expecting a very important letter, the way you keep looking into that mailbox."
The blonde answers, "No, i am working on my computer, and it keeps telling me that i have mail"

Helping a blonde lose weight
A blonde is overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet.
"I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat the procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least 5 pounds.
When the blonde return, she's lost nearly 20 pounds! "Why that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?"
The blonde nods."I'll tell you, though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day."
"From hunger, you mean?" asks the doctor.
"No, from skipping," replies the blonde

What do you call a blonde skeleton in the closet?
Last year's hide and seek champion.

Why did the blonde get so excited after she finished her jigsaw puzzle in only 6 months? Because on the box it said From 2-4 years.

Sweet saver
I was drowning in a lake and screaming out for a life saver when she asked: "Grape or Cherry?"
(life safer is a brand of sweet. Idiot la really these jokes. Haha!)

Nostalgic

the guys at Mount Jasar

Met up with a few of my RBS friends yesterday. In a matter of fact, I actually just reached home. It was a good time of catching up with one another and sharing about our whereabouts and our current life with one another and also having a few laughs about the good old days.

Those who were present were: Jonathan, Tze Yang, Jee Yann, Joseph, Andrian, Song Sing, Michelle and myself with a few exceptions of other friends. It was our little gathering of RBS '06. I guess after such a long time of not seeing each other there was a sense of freshness (i speak on my behalf). And what's more, everyone was able to get along instantly with one another.  Had a really late dinner at KFC Wangsa Maju at about 10.30pm. We adjourned to one of the friends place to catch up with one another. It was good fun talking about all the things which happened at RBS and how we were able to bring forth those nostalgic memories and laugh about it. All I can say is that you need to be there to be able to experience it for yourself. Those who weren't present, too bad, your lost. :P

Come to think of it, RBS '06 ended around this time 2 years ago, and it's really ironic to meet up with one another after such a long period of time and coincidentally just about the time after our graduation. I guess at times I do miss the time spent there with one another, but if you'd ask me whether I would want to go back to RBS again, it would most likely be a no for me. To me, RBS was very much a thing that I would want to experience once in my life, and after one time, it's enough. I do miss it at times, but I'm contented.

Anyway, after the chat at our friends house, we headed out to a nearby mamak to have a drink. And this was when I found the funkiest names for food! (mind you,  it was really funky!) Felt so jakun la, the locals were giving me that "come on, what's the big fuss kinda look". But whatever it is, I still felt really amazed by it. Just take a look at it.

Imagine..

At a mamak stall near you:

Ah Neh: Apa you mau makan?
Henry: Ada apa untuk makan?
Ah Neh: Roti Kembara, Roti Satria, Roti Proton Saga, semua roti kereta proton pun ada.
Henry: !@#$!!!!!!!

Haha, cheap thrill. Oh well, every single day we learn something new. That was it for me! Creative minds I must say.

Out!

i miss you too! : )

Rantings!

I have this thing for reading people's blog when I am free. And ironically, most of them have brand new updates each time I clicked on them. Makes me wonder if I am living my life to the fullest. OR maybe they are just inspired so easily each time they explore the world. OR maybe my life is just so mundane and uninspiring. Period.

Since I'm currently so free, let me re-evaluate my to-do-list once again. So here goes:

Things to achieve/get by 31st December 2008:

1) Lose another 5-7kg.
2) Get a DSLR? Hopefully.
3) Complete reading another 2 more books at least!
4) Write something inspiring!
5) Play at least a round of golf!
6) Get birthday gifts for the WHOLE family (sad, but I haven't done it before)
7) Buy a new pair of shoe
8) Get a new watch (coming soon!)
9) Do something that I've never done before!

Well, it's already 5 in the morning, and yet I'm still very much awake. I think my biological clock have gone haywire already. I need to adjust back to normal human sleeping time. This is so bad for my health.

++++++++++++++++++++++

On a different note, I learned that there's no such thing as a people pleaser. And there's no way one can please everybody. I finally understood that I can only do my best to please only a certain group of people because if I try to please everyone, in the end I would be the one who end up being displeased. If that make sense.

Have you ever wish that you could have changed a characteristic(s) of yourself?

For me, I don't like myself sometimes for being such a weak soul. To that, I mean being soft inside. I realized that I sympathize with people very often, and I am easily persuade and given in to very easily. It just sucks la. Need to change.

There a saying that goes, "treat your neighbors like how you would want others to treat you" or "if your neighbor ask you to go one mile with him, go with him two mile instead". I guess, it rarely happens these days. And the world isn't what I thought it would be now that I have grown up to witness it for myself. The world which I thought was peaceful and loving has passed, but now it is better known to be a harsh, cruel and revengeful environment.

Speaking on that topic, I have read many news about how the world has become a living hell for many. Wars arising, floods destroying the harvest. Woman and children getting rape. All sorts of nonsense seems to be happening and every unimaginable thing which I thought would never happen has happened or seems to be giving indications that it may happen in the near future. This world is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

In reality, it doesn't take one a hard time to notice that the world we are living in today is a world in need. Just look around you, be it on the streets, in the news telecast, or even on the radio, we see people suffering. So many documentaries about poverty have been aired on the television for decades and yet do we see initiative being taken to help this sad souls? Yes, but barely enough to make a revolutionary change. What is worse, countries declare war between one another because of greed for power and wealth, and their actions have not only inflicted severe suffering such as stravation to their own people but have also made many children homeless and dispatched. And sometimes I ask myself, where is the justice in this? what has the world turned into? How have we become so insensitive to the suffering of this world that we do not even lend a helping hand but instead we add to its woes! Indeed ignorance is bliss, but are we going to turn a blind eye and pretend that everything is alright and just move on with life?

I have difficulties answering that question myself. I believe we all know the right thing to do, but are we able to live that life and make a difference in this world? Are we willing to give up certain activities to help make this world a better place? It sounds cliche but are we willing to make a difference so that the future generations would have a better life?

Anyway, enough rantings, I guess I just had that sudden urge to blog about the environment and our world. A sudden burst of passion for the world it seems! :) If we would only lend a hand or two, this world would definitely be a better place. :)
