Genting 2005

Funny how we like to reminisce the past. Some say, pictures paint a thousand words. I say pictures brings up memories about the times shared together with love ones. Besides, who takes pictures with someone they dislike?

Anyhoos, I was looking through my picture folder, since I just reformatted my computer not too long ago and everything is still unorganized! I came across a folder
genting 2005. It was a folder containing pictures from the trip we had in genting on the verge of the new year 2006.

Looking back at the pictures really brought back good memories. Fun times. Just a group of friends spending time in each others company just talking and having fun. The pictures really brought back good memories. Especially those times when jason, nigel and I was at the peak of our weight! Haha! Now, let's just let the pictures do the talking!

It's been 3 years since the trip. We need another getaway! Where to go this time around? Any idea?

Stupidity: Act 254#

Do not ever try this, do not text your girlfriend/boyfriend while you are having a conversation with your dad via text at the same time. Mistakes do happen and you tend to send the wrong message to the wrong person. Literally. 'nuff said.

Skyrocketed

Not too long ago, petrol was priced at a RM1.68, a plate of chicken rice were going for RM3.50, ice cream potong were selling for a mere 50 cents. These days, if ever you get the opportunity to witness such low prices. It would be as if you've found a pot of gold. Prices have skyrocketed at a faster pace than what people are earning and that has definitely made certain groups of people feel a sense of insecurity. Although I'm not categorized in that financial bracket, the more I think of it, the more paranoid I get.

It's really scary having this insecurity of not having enough to survive. With the valu of our money depreciating at a rate of 1-3.5% per annum. What's not to be worried about? I was triggered to write this post after reading the newspaper this morning
price of rice up RM35 in a month!
Not only has the price of energy increased, but other necessities such as food and apparels have increased in price. Hence, to monitor my spending I have started a log book to list down my spending in order to minimize wastage and unnecessary buying. I'm gonna be a thrifty person from now on! At least I'll try. Haha! Say no to price increases! And yay to higher income!

Out!
