Bitter.
Dad,
I sat down and thought about it. Why did you reject your daughters invitation to go for her graduation in Melbourne this coming October? I know that if it had to do with some business obligations/work related activities I wouldn't mind you not attending, but of all things? I'm pretty damn disappointed by your decision, especially the reason behind it. Sometimes I wished you were more open-minded and see things in a better perspective. Why have you always got to safe guard yourself all the time? It's not like you'll face eternal damnation if you had chosen to go for Sandra's graduation. I don't understand why are you so bitter about the past. Yes, I'm sure it still brings back unwanted memories, but Dad, you're going for the graduation for your daughter! FOR YOUR DAUGHTER, not anything else. Why do you have so much pride instilled in you that you would rather not go for your daughter's graduation then to face reality? Reality sucks, I know, but does your daughter deserve this? Hell, no! How could you be so selfish when that's one of the only things she asked of you. There's still time to change things, and I hope you do think it over and reconsider that invitation. I would love to see my sister happy.
Your son,
Henry
